Samsung has announced its A12 and A02S, the two latest entry-level phones for 2021. The tech company has announced its A12 and A02S phones, which are of course the latest entry-level phones that are prepared to be released in Europe, next year.
Both phones of the company give a lower barrier to entry for anybody that is in search of a modern Android smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy A12
The Samsung Galaxy A12 is created to be a successor to the A11, having a 6.5-inch HD+ display together with a notch for the 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5,000mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor on the side, and an octa-core processor.
Its photos are being covered by a quad-array of cameras on the back, not excluding a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultrawide, together with a pair of 2-megapixel sensors to assist with macro and depth shots also.
The Samsung Galaxy A02S is quite less impressive
The Samsung Galaxy A02S is quite less impressive. Though, it has got the same battery and display. However, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (though, storage can be expanded with the help of its microSD slot). The phone also has different cameras. They include:
- a 13-megapixel main sensor
- and the same set of 2-megapixel sensors as the Samsung Galaxy A12. The costs are also cut with ports, the A02S displays an older Micro USB port as opposed to the USB-C port that you might have been craving for. Unlike the A12, the A02S doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor.
The company initially launched the 5G versions of its Galaxy A line of phones. We were thinking the model has screen quality over speed and cameras. Expect greater trade-offs with the Samsung Galaxy A12 and the A02S’s even lower prices.
Not regarding, the budget option of Samsung are its best selling phones. Therefore, even little improvements to specs look like a great move for anybody in search of their first smartphone in Europe.
Prices of the Galaxy A12 and the Galaxy A02S
Here are the prices of both phones:
- The Samsung Galaxy A12 starts at €179 ($212) for the 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM.
- For the 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM, it is priced at €199 ($236).
- While the Samsung Galaxy A02S is priced at a starting price of €150 ($178)
Release Date
The Samsung Galaxy A12 will be available to users in January 2021. While the Samsung Galaxy A02S will be available in February 2021.
Furthermore, the company has not announced any plans yet for the release of the devices in North America.
